This Evening and Tonight:
Dry, cold and clear with a hard frost, particularly inland. Frequent showers, mainly of sleet and snow, continuing to affect northern, eastern and western parts, especially coastal areas. North to northwest winds continuing.
Saturday:
Wintry showers continuing to spread to northern, eastern and western parts, especially coasts exposed to the north to northwesterly wind. Much drier and brighter inland, but still feeling cold.

Outlook for Sunday
Cold and windy with some sunny spells inland but occasional snow showers affecting northern, eastern and western coasts. Rain, sleet and snow spreading from the northwest on Tuesday
